  1. Notes: The table above reports marginal effects from probit models. Demographic controls include age, a quadratic of age, dummies for educational attainment, and gender and race dummies. HIRE eligible are defined as workers who searched for at least 60 days in the past year. Long Term Unemployed (LTU) are defined as unemployed who were unemployed for six months or more in the last year. Data for this table leaves out any individuals eligible for WOTC, including SNAP and TANF recipients. Data is from Annual Social and Economic (ASEC) supplement of the Current Population Survey spanning the years 2003–2013.
